- 2 pounds of beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 2 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- ¼ cup tomato paste
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Place the beef cubes in the slow cooker.
