Easy Crock Pot Tacos Made With Pulled Duck Breast
Today we’re going to revisit tacos. I am a big fan of duck breasts and really love their taste. So why not making delicious tacos?
We’re using the slow cooker to make it really simple, it simply requires a few minutes of prep, and we’ll get a very tasty pulled duck that is going to blend perfectly with the toppings.
Interested? Let’s get started!
Sprinkle generously with salt and ground pepper.
On both side of course.
Make the same with the remaining spices (cumin, oregano, garlic).
Rub the breast with your hand, make sure that there are spice all over it.
Then place it in the pot.
Add onions, orange juice, lime juice, and finally chicken stock .
Cover and set the slow cooker or instant pot on LOW setting for 6 to 7 hours or until the meat falls apart.
Then simply use two forks to shred the meat or alternatively you can use the Bear Paws (they are great for BBQ meats too).
Transfer to a skillet that you have previously heated with some oil (medium/high heat)
Stir a bit until it becomes crispy (it won’t take long)
As simple as that, now time to assemble the tacos with your preferred toppings 🙂
