Mmmmm… a Delicious Alternative to Traditional Omelette…
If you’ve never tried a mouth-watering Kale Fritatta, you don’t know what you’re missing… It combines the flavors of kale, onions, spinach, cheese and eggs to create a tasty and filling recipe.
A frittata is a great alternative to a traditional omelette, or scrambled eggs. It is easier to make, because there’s no flipping or hovering over the stove. We usually wouldn’t use a slow cooker for that, but it’s pretty handy if you need to get a ready meal when coming back home after a few hours leave…
Simply toss the ingredients into the slow cooker and leave it to bake on its own. Today we’re using a Crock-Pot® 5-in-1 Multi-Cooker.
Start by adding some olive oil in you 5 in 1 Slow Cooker
As you see it isn’t a common slow cooker, set it to “Saute” on HI
Add the baby kale and spinach and saute them
Then pour your beaten eggs into the pot
Add green onions chopped
and roasted red peppers
and finally crumbled goat cheese.
Now change the settings to slow cook on LOW for 2 to 3 hours and you can focus on other tasks…
You’re getting a delicious meal when coming back, see the ingredients on next page 🙂
