Crock-Pot Chicken Paella That You Really Want To Try.
A typical paella is a seafood-based dish that is flavored with saffron, which I really enjoy. However, not everyone eats seafood, so today we are going to revisit the recipe by using chicken and paprika instead of saffron (which can be quite expensive). This way, you can cook a delicious dish even if you’re on a budget.
Let’s start:
Skillet on medium-high heat, add some oil.
Add boneless chicken breast cut into pieces and add salt and pepper
Brown the chicken on both sides.
Add the rice to the remaining oil in the skillet.
Stir well
Until the rice is brown
Add the chicken to the slow cooker.
Add rice, tomatoes, chicken broth, and white wine (use more broth if you don’t have wine)
Add chorizo, onions, garlic, and a bit more paprika,
Stir well
Add more chicken broth (see the video at the end)
Stir well and cover on High heat until the rice is tender about 1 3/4 to 2 hours.
Open and see how great it looks, it’s not done yet though…
