Crock-Pot Chicken Paella That You Really Want To Try.
A typical paella is a seafood based dish flavored with saffron, something I really like. Though not everyone eats seafood, so today we’re going to revisit it with chicken and paprika instead of saffron, (which is expensive). You’ll be able to cook this delicious dish even if you are on budget.
Let’s start:
Skillet on medium high heat, add some oil
Add boneless chicken breat cut into pieces and add salt and pepper
Brown the chicken on both side.
Add the rice in the remaining oil in the skillet
Stir well
Until the rice is braun
Add the chicken in the slow cooker
Add rice, tomatoes, chicken broth and white wine (use more broth if you don’t have wine)
Add chorizo, onions, garlic and a bit more paprika,
Stir well
Add more chicken broth (see the video at the end)
Stir well and cover on High heat until the rice is tender about 1 3/4 to 2 hours.
Open and see how great it look, it’s not done yet though…
