Ingredients
  • 1 5-7 lb turkey (thawed & cleaned)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 3 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp sage
Instructions
  1. Mix pepper, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, and sage for the rub.
  2. Wipe the turkey with paper towels.
  3. Rub it well with butter under the skin.
  4. Also, rub with olive oil on the outside
  5. Use the rub to season it.
  6. Add the chicken broth in the slow cooker.
  7. Put the turkey into the crock-pot.
  8. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hours.
  9. It's ready!
