Crock Pot Bratwurst Hot Dog with Peppers & Onions

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4 bratwurst sausage
- 2 medium sweet onions, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 12 ounces beer
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- Brown the bratwurst in a skillet, add oil over medium heat and brown them on all sides.
- Add to the slow cooker.
- Top the brats with the onions and peppers, salt, pepper and butter.
- Pour over the beer and mix.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low 7-8 hours.
- Serve on a bun with your favorite condiments
Simply multiply the ingredients if you have many guests.
Bratwurst are usually made of Pork, Veal or Beef.
