Serves: 4 serves
Ingredients
  • 2 pounds bone-in pork chop
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
  • 1 can of chicken soup
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1½ cups no-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons dry thyme
  • 2 teaspoons dry parsley
  • ½ onion, small diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, rough chopped (optional)
Instructions
  1. Slow Cooker Pork Chops & Delicious Sauce ready to serve
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Coat in flour and tap off the excess.
  4. Put a sauté pan on high heat. Add in oil. When oil becomes hot, add in pork chops and brown both sides. Be sure not to overcrowd the pan, as this will steam the pork chops rather than browning them. Set aside.
  5. Add in onions and garlic. If you need to add a little oil to the pan, go ahead and do so. Sauté for 3-5 minutes on medium-low until onions are tender.
  6. When onions are tender, add chicken broth to deglaze the pan. When all the bits at the bottom of the pan have lifted, turn off the heat.
  7. Pour into a 6-quart slow cooker.
  8. Add in mushroom soup, chicken soup, thyme, parsley, onion, and garlic. Mix well. Add in pork chops, pushing them into the soup. Allow cooking for 3 hours on LOW.
  9. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley. Serve!
  10. They're great with mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice and a green steamed vegetable on the side.
